Committees

Although the board claims there are a couple of committees at Glenhardie, the fact is they are not legitimate committees as outlined in the Glenhardie By-Laws.

From the Glenhardie By-Laws:

ARTICLE IX
Committees

Section 9.01  Committees.   The Executive Board shall have the right to create such committees from time to time as the Executive Board shall deem appropriate and to delegate to such committees various duties and powers subject to the ultimate responsibility and authority of the Executive Board....  Unless otherwise provided by resolution of the Executive Board, each committee formed by the Executive Board shall consist of a minimum of three persons—a Chairman and two (2) Members—and also shall include a member of the Executive Board, in addition to the President as ex-officio member, for Executive Board contact. Other than ad hoc committees formed by the Executive Board for a limited purpose and to serve a limited period of time, the members of the committees shall be appointed by the Executive Board for a term of one (1) year and until their successor is appointed. Appointments of all committees and their members shall be announced by publication to Members of the Association and at the next regular Executive Board meeting following such appointments. Each committee shall serve at the sole pleasure of the Executive Board.
As shown in the January 2020 Patriot, the current committees are comprised of only two members (instead of the required minimum of three), and the members are all on the  executive board.  The board does not want non-board members to be involved.
